David Bailey Tai Chi & Qigong

David Bailey trained in Chinese martial arts with Master Chris Elerker and obtained a black belt in Shaolin Long fist Kung Fu (Chang Chuen Shu) in 1979. He also spent two years training with Grandmaster Yap Leong - Kung Fu and Qigong Master - A disciple of the late Sijo Chee Kim Thong whilst studying at university in London. Grandmaster Yap Leong, who is based in London, is a well known master of Five Ancestors (Wuzuquan), Shaolin Fists, Chi Kung, Healing & Feng Shui. David has been practising and teaching Qigong and Tai Chi since 1997 and is a registered Qigong instructor with the British Health Qigong Association. David is registered acupuncture practitioner with the British Acupuncture Council trained in Chinese Herbal Medicine with Professor Shulan Tang and advanced manipulation through Osteon at the London School of Osteopathy. He treats spinal conditions with a combination of spinal manipulation, muscle energy techniques (MET) and acupuncture at his clinic Dao Holistic Therapy situated in Stalybridge. He is a Dr of Chemistry having a 1st Class Hons degree in Chemistry and a PhD from Durham University in 1994.

Sarah England Pilates

Sarah England is a ballet teacher with 25 years teaching experience and with a level 3 specialist (VTCT) diploma in Pilates mat work. She has been using Pilates exercises with her ballet students for many years and now offers classes to adults of all levels of ability. Keeping the classes small enables more individual attention and means that clients are given a programme which suits them and helps them to achieve their personal goals, whether that is to improve posture, balance, flexibility or strength.
